College of Political Sciences - Tikrit University

The college of Political Science (TUCOPS) operates with 22 faculty member. After being a department at the College of Law, TUCOPS was established in 2010 as a separate college in Tikrit University.
It is a vibrant, outward-looking college with 3 department of Political thoughts, International Studies and Political Systems those combine intensive research activity with the strong commitment to high quality undergraduate teaching. A student/faculty ratio of 5:1 ensures that students have close, meaningful engagement with their professors. Proceeding to more excellence and serving community, TUCOPS starts a postgraduate study in Political Thoughts with 6 student for the upcoming academic year (2013-2014).
